Cauliflower Hash Browns

Ingredients


  • Cauliflower Florets, riced (You can use a food processor or grate it finely)

    4 cups

  • Grated Parmesan Cheese

    1/2 cup

  • Almond Flour

    1/4 cup

  • Eggs

    2 (Large)

  • Garlic Powder

    1 teaspoon

  • Onion Powder

    1 teaspoon

  • Paprika

    1/2 teaspoon

  • Salt and Pepper

    to taste

  • Cooking Oil or Cooking Spray (for greasing)

    1 tablespoon

Steps


  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Grease the parchment paper with cooking oil or cooking spray.
  2. Place the riced cauliflower in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for about 5 minutes, or until it becomes tender. Allow it to cool for a few minutes.
  3. Use a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth to squeeze out any excess moisture from the cauliflower. This step is important to achieve crispier hash browns.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower, grated Parmesan cheese, almond flour, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.
