Keto Bacon Wrapped Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients


  • Large White Mushrooms

    12 pieces

  • Bacon

    6 slices

  • Cream Cheese (softened)

    4 ounces

  • Cheddar Cheese (shredded)

    1/2 cup

  • Green Onions (finely chopped)

    2 pieces

  • Garlic Powder

    1/2 teaspoon

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Fresh Parsley (optional for garnish)

Steps


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Clean the mushrooms by wiping them gently with a damp paper towel. Remove the stems and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  4. Take a mushroom cap and spoon about a teaspoon of the cheese mixture into the cavity left by the removed stem. Repeat with the remaining mushroom caps.
  5. Cut each bacon slice in half crosswise. Wrap each mushroom with a half-slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary. Place the bacon-wrapped mushrooms on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the mushrooms are tender.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the mushrooms cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
