Keto Baked Chicken with Thyme and Sage Butter

Ingredients


  • Chicken Breasts (boneless, skinless)

  • Butter (unsalted, softened)

    4 tablespoons

  • Fresh Thyme Leaves (chopped)

    2 teaspoons

  • Sage Leaves (chopped)

    1 teaspoon

  • Salt

    1/2 teaspoon

  • Black Pepper

    1/4 teaspoon

Steps


  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, chopped thyme leaves, chopped sage leaves, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Place the chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil. Make sure they are evenly spaced.
  4. Using your hands or a spoon, spread the thyme and sage butter mixture over the top of each chicken breast, making sure to cover the entire surface.
  5. Place the baking sheet with the chicken breasts in the preheated oven. Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
