Ingredients


  • Large Eggs

    3 pieces

  • Heavy Cream

    2 tablespoons

  • Butter

    1 tablespoon

  • Cheddar Cheese (shredded)

    1/4 cup

  • Bacon (cooked, crumbled)

    2 slices

  • Bell Peppers (diced)

    2 tablespoons

  • Onions (diced)

    2 tablespoons

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Avocado Slices (optional for topping)

  • Tomatoes (chopped, optional for topping)

  • Fresh Herbs (optional for topping)

Steps


  1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Let it melt and coat the bottom of the skillet.
  3. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let it cook for a minute or until the edges start to set.
  4. Using a spatula, gently lift the edges of the omelette and tilt the skillet to allow the uncooked egg to flow to the edges.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, diced bell peppers, and diced onions evenly over one side of the omelette.
  6. Fold the other side of the omelette over the filling, creating a half-moon shape. Press gently to seal.
  7. Cook for another minute or until the cheese has melted and the omelette is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  8. Slide the omelette onto a plate and garnish with optional toppings such as avocado slices, chopped tomatoes, or fresh herbs.
