Ingredients


  • Almond Flour

    2 tablespoons

  • Coconut Flour

    1 tablespoon

  • Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

    1 tablespoon

  • Stevia or Equal Gold (or any preferred sweetener)

    1 tablespoon

  • Baking Powder

    1/4 teaspoon

  • Salt

    1 pinch

  • Large Egg

    1 piece

  • Unsweetened Almond Milk or Coconut Milk

    2 tablespoons

  • Melted coconut oil

    1 tablespoon

  • Butter

    1 tablespoon

  • Vanilla Extract

    1/4 teaspoon

Steps


  1. In a microwave-safe mug, combine the almond flour, coconut flour, cocoa powder, sweetener, baking powder, and salt. Stir until well mixed and no lumps remain.
  2. Add the egg, almond milk (or coconut milk), melted coconut oil (or butter), and vanilla extract to the mug. Stir until all the ingredients are well combined and the batter is smooth.
  3. Microwave the mug on high for about 90 seconds to 2 minutes, or until the cake has risen and is set in the middle. The cooking time may vary depending on the wattage of your microwave, so adjust accordingly.
  4. Carefully remove the mug from the microwave (be cautious as it will be hot). Allow the mug cake to cool for a minute or two.
