Keto Pork Chops with Garlicky Cream Sauce

Ingredients


  • Pork (boneless)

    4 chops

  • Olive Oil

    2 tablespoons

  • Garlic (minced)

    4 cloves

  • Heavy Cream

    1 cup

  • Dried Thyme

    1/2 teaspoon

  • Dried Rosemary

    1/2 teaspoon

  • Dried Oregano

    1/2 teaspoon

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Fresh Parsley (optional garnish)

Steps


  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the pork chops to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are browned and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  4. Once the pork chops are cooked, transfer them to a plate and cover them with foil to keep warm.
  5. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and add the dried thyme, dried rosemary, and dried oregano. Stir well to combine.
  7. Simmer the sauce for about 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly. Season with additional salt and pepper, if needed.
  8. Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning the creamy garlic sauce over them. Cook for another minute to heat the pork chops through.
  9. Remove the skillet from the heat.
  10. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley for added freshness and presentation.
